Global investment in office real estate peaked in the fourth quarter of 2021, after several quarters of low investor sentiment due to the coronavirus pandemic and its effect on office real estate demand. Nevertheless, the first half of 2022 still experienced record-low investment activity, showing that the market hasn't recovered from the pandemic.
