In 2022, China had the highest international visitor spending in the Asia-Pacific region, in which international tourism expenditure almost reached 30 billion U.S. dollars. In comparison, international tourism expenditure in South Korea amounted to approximately 14.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2022.
