While discussing the reasons behind Vladimir Putin's initiative to amend the country's Constitution, 47 percent of Russians linked it to the interest of the president to prepare the executive system for his successor and to stay in power after his term would end in 2024. The voting on the constitutional amendments took place from June 25 to July 1, 2020.

What opinion do you personally agree with the most?"

Approximately 80 percent of respondents heard about the amendments and 20 percent did not.

The survey was conducted in 137 municipalities in 50 federal subjects of Russia at respondents' homes.
