Number of new passenger cars sold in Russia 2012-2027
Approximately 630 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia in 2022. The sales volume saw a 58 percent decline from the previous year due to the exodus of several Western brands in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In the following years until 2027, the indicator was expected to increase gradually, though still remaining below the 2021 figure.
