Production volume of new and renewable energy South Korea 2010-2022
In 2022, around 15.7 million tons of oil equivalent of new and renewable energy were produced in South Korea. Non-recyclable waste is now excluded from renewable energy sources, so the production volumes for 2016 dropped compared to previous years. According to the source, new and renewable energy took up 5.17 percent of the primary energy supply in South Korea that year, an increase from 4.66 percent the previous year.
