Canada: time spent on audio consumption 2017, by type
This statistic presents the data corresponding to the share of time Canadians spent listening to selected audio sources in Canada as of 2017, sorted by type. The results show that radio was the most popular audio source, with 61 percent of respondents' time being spent listening to AM/FM radio. Sirius XM and podcasts were among the least popular audio sources, with four percent of respondents' audio consumption time was spent listening to Sirius XM and three percent of time was spent listening to podcasts. The amount of time spent by respondents listening to owned music amounted to 16 percent, whereas time spent listening to TV music channels amounted to just six percent.
