This statistic shows the share of individuals who thought in 2016 that the current young generation would be worse off in the future than their parents in Italy. According to the survey results, young adults aged 25-34 were as pessimistic as the sample average, with around six in ten respondents believing that young people would achieve a lower social and economic status than their parents.
