The number of commercial real estate transactions in the United Kingdom (UK) increased in 2021, after plummeting in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2022, there was a slight decrease, with about 122,000 non-residential property sales over 40,000 British pounds completed, down from about 123,000 the year before. Nevertheless, the highest number of transactions was achieved in 2007 when approximately 139,000 sales took place. England made up the majority of completed non-residential property transactions.
