This statistic illustrates the total number of card payments for credit cooperatives and their regional institutions in Germany from 2011 to 2020. A credit cooperative is defined as a financial organization that allows for borrowing at low interest rates from an amount saved by the group, as it is owned and controlled by its members. It can be seen that the total number of card payments for credit cooperatives in Germany increased during the period under observation, reaching a total of more than 1.2 million payments as of 2017. The smallest value for the period under observation was found in 2014, when 680.3 billion card payments were recorded.
