With an estimated 745,000 eligible people, Mexico was the number one country of origin for people immediately eligible for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in the United States in 2022. El Salvador trailed behind, but was the country with the second highest population immediately eligible for DACA, with 55,000 people.
