This statistic depicts the estimated percent change of malaria incidence rates by WHO world region, based on estimated incidence rate per 1,000 at risk of malaria, between 2010 and 2016. The Western Pacific region reported an estimated incidence rate decrease of about 12 percent. As of 2015, malaria remained the most serious of the mosquito-borne diseases for at-risk populations worldwide.
