As of March 2020 internet's share of total advertising spending in Canada in 2019 stood at a little over 51 percent. This medium is expected to command ever growing shares of the media ad spend in the country, growing to 60.6 percent in 2023. TV, the second largest medium in Canada accounted for 20.5 percent of ad expenditures and will drop to 18.5 percent in the same time period.
