This statistic compares the reading levels of boys in care and boys not in care at Key Stage 2 (KS2) in England from 2010 to 2015. In 2014, two thirds of male KS2 pupils living in care achieved the expected reading levels, compared to 87 percent of non-looked after male pupils.
