According to surveys conducted in 2023, Thailand had a business discontinuance rate of 6.8 percent. In comparison, South Korea's business discontinuation rate was 2.5 percent in the same year.
The business discontinuation rate was defined as the percentage of individuals who had discontinued a business within the 12 months preceding the survey date.
