HIV-infected persons - discrimination in selected countries 2008-2013
This statistic depicts the level of discrimination against HIV-infected persons in selected countries in the period from 2008-2013. The values are based on the People Living with HIV Stigma Index, which is a tool to measure stigma and discrimination as experienced by people living with HIV. In China, 15 percent of all people living with HIV stated that they were refused employment in the last 12 months because of their condition.
