This statistic gives information on the most common social media discoveries made by hiring managers that lead to a candidate not getting a job. During as survey in May 2018, it was found that 25 percent of employers who researched potential job candidates on social media had not extended a job offer because the candidate had been found out to be bad-mouthing their previous employer or fellow employees on social networks.
