This statistic shows the mal-employment rate (the rate at which university graduates are employed in jobs below their qualification level) in the United States in 2000, 2007 and 2010, by age group. In 2010, the mal-employment rate of 20 to 24 year olds stood at 39.1 percent, a significant increase from the rate of 29.8 percent in 2000.
