Share of renewables in power production in the Nordics 2000-2022, by country
The share of renewable sources in electricity generation in the Nordic countries has seen a huge boost since 2000. Iceland and Norway have consistently recorded the highest shares of renewables, remaining at around 100 percent throughout the period. Meanwhile, Denmark recorded the highest growth, from less than 16 percent in 2000 to roughly 84 percent in 2022.
