Hong Kong: online travel agency usage by age group 2023

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies (OTA) conducted in June 2023, 77 percent of respondents from Hong Kong stated that they have used an online travel agency. The usage of OTA services was the most common among the respondents aged 25 to 34 years old, 84 percent of them confirming that they had used an online travel agency before.

Among the total of 3,737 respondents, 311 were between 16 and 24 years old, 1,096 were 25 to 34 years old, 1,178 were 35 to 44 years old, 641 were 45 to 54 years old, and 511 were 55 years old or older.
