The electricity production in the United States peaks in the summer and winter months with the most extreme temperature change, when the electricity demand of the country is higher. The U.S. produced around 330 terawatt-hours of electricity in March 2024. By comparison, in January of the same year, the U.S. produced over 380 terawatt-hours of electricity.
