A survey conducted in 2022 among Australians revealed that almost 65 percent of respondents believe that buy-back, resale, and recycling programs would be most effective for homeware and appliance products. Consumer electronics and recreational goods were also seen as having a lot of potential of being bought back, resold, or recycled through these programs.
