Opinion on characteristics missing in domestic films in Russia 2022
According to a survey carried out in June 2022, almost a half of respondents in Russia stated that the Russian cinema lacked interesting and captivating storylines. Some 43 percent believed that domestic films missed the quality of filming, special effects, and graphics. Overall, 14 percent of Russians found the level of modern Russian cinema to be low.
