COVID-19 effects on radio newsrooms in the U.S. 2021
A survey held in the United States at the end of 2021 looking at the effects of COVID-19 on newsrooms across the country revealed that 10.6 percent had seen permanent physical changes to offices, and 13.2 percent had their budgets cut. However, the majority of radio news directors and general managers said that their radio newsroom was mostly back to normal.
