Performance of Medicaid adult's health quality measures 2020
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) established a set of health care quality measures for adults in Medicaid (Adult Core Set), to improve the quality of care received by beneficiaries. State reports have so far been voluntary, but will be mandatory starting FY 2024.
In 2020, the median performance rate of adult BMI assessment was the highest at 85.6 percent. This statistic shows the median performance rates on select frequently reported adult core set care quality measures of Medicaid in 2020.
