Insurance companies are some of the most active players in the sports sponsorship market. In 2022, a total of 462 partnerships with insurance companies accounted for a sponsorship spend of 1.12 billion U.S. dollars within the professional sports industry. Soccer was the most attractive sport to these companies, accounting for just over 361 million U.S. dollars of the total spend in 2022.
