Preference for premium non-grocery products in Tanzania 2018, by type
Nearly seven out of 10 consumers in Tanzania would pay more for higher quality clothing and accessories, according to a survey conducted in 2018. Also 67 percent of respondents would be willing to spend more money in order to get better footwear as well as home care products. Other 55 percent of customers would pay for more quality in mobile electronics. On the other hand, only eight percent of consumers would be willing to behave the same to get better cars.
