Opinions on humans' role in stopping climate change in Africa

In a survey conducted between 2016 and 2018, 23 percent of respondents from Africa believed that ordinary people could do a lot to stop climate change. On the contrary, 20 percent thought that people could do nothing at all in this matter. Compared to the average of the 33 countries surveyed, respondents from Togo, Madagascar, and Uganda were notably more likely to believe that there was a lot that ordinary people could do to fight climate change.
