Leading reasons to play video games during COVID-19 in the U.S. 2020
A survey conducted in April 2020 revealed that 56 percent of adults in the United States who played or watched video games did so to combat boredom during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, 45 percent of responding U.S. adults played video games during the pandemic to escape the real world.
