Opinions on eSports club sponsorships in China 2020
More brands are jumping on the bandwagon to reach young consumers through sponsoring eSports tournaments and clubs. A consumer survey found that Chinese eSports fans were split on eSports clubs getting brand sponsorships. As per results in January 2020, about 42 percent of respondents considered sponsorships good for the operation of eSports clubs, whereas around 35 percent showed concerns on this matter.
