According to a survey conducted among small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2020, 14 percent of respondents stated that they offered online sales due to customer demand. Nevertheless, 64 percent of respondents reported that they did not offer online sales. E-commerce accounted for ten percent of total sales in the UAE.
