Views on the positivity of ParalympicsGB athletes compared to other disabled people
When presented with two opposing statements, the largest share of respondents within each age group indicated that their opinion more closely aligned with the statement that ParalympicsGB athletes have a more positive attitude and mindset than disabled British people more widely. Within both the 18-34 and 55+ age groups the share of respondents that indicated as such was over 60 percent, however, within the 35-54 age group, only 56 percent of respondents indicated as such, with the remaining 44 percent indicating that their opinion more closely aligned with the statement that ParalympicsGB athletes and disabled British people more widely have a similar attitude and mindset.
