In regards to fake news in Vietnamese media in 2019, 88 percent of respondents from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City agreed that more action should be taken in order to prevent the publishing and broadcasting of fake news. Media channels that the respondents felt most wary of included online platforms such as social media and news websites.
