In 2022, India's print media industry recorded advertising expenditures amounting to nearly 185 billion Indian rupees. An increase from the previous year, it showed signs of the industry recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, with a forecast for 2023 estimating a return to pre-pandemic levels.
