Share of shoppers who use and return clothing items in the UK 2019
This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted with British consumers who shopped for non-food items online and in-store in 2019. The survey revealed that about 43 percent of shoppers aged between 16-24 said they buy clothing items with the express intent to return them after using. This was much lower in the older ager groups, at 6 percent for those over 55 years-old, for instance.
