This graph depicts the results of a survey about the risks of failing to comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) obligations among companies in the United States and in the European Union in 2018, by category and geographical area. According to data, 71 percent of companies from the US believed to risk to not accomplish in operationalizing the right to be forgotten, whereas the share of companies in the EU was 53 percent. By contrast, 59 percent of firms in the EU thought that they endangered to not maintaining records of processing, while the percentage of companies in the U.S. amounted to 36.
