Use of online advertising targeted by companies in France 2016
This statistic shows what percentage of companies paid to advertise on the internet based on the content of web pages or keywords sought by Internet users in France in 2016, according to the sector. Overall, about 15 percent of the companies surveyed reported using this type of targeted online advertising, which is three points less than the share of firms with, in general, use of paid advertising online. In the information and communication sector, this rate was over 22 percent.
