Number of school dropouts in Brazil 2019-2022, by gender
From 2019 to 2022, the number of people who dropped out of school in Brazil decreased. In 2019, more than 11,000 students between the ages of 14 and 29 had dropped out of school, of which more than 6,400 were males. In 2022, around 5,600 male students had dropped out of school, compared to around 4,000 girls.
