Canadians getting news about Russia-Ukraine war from social platforms 2022
According to a 2022 report conducted in Canada, nine percent of internet users always got their news from Twitter, whilst 17 percent often got their news from Twitter. Overall, ten percent of internet users in Canada reported always getting their news from social news aggregation platform Reddit. Video-based TikTok was also popular with Canadians and news consumption, with 30 percent of users saying they never got their news from the app.
