However, despite their higher prices, 8K TVs are not preferred to their previous models and this technology is yet to reach mainstream penetration.

For instance, in the United State, almost 115 million households owned a connected TV in 2023, while roughly 75 percent of UK families owned a smart TV in the same year. Looking ahead, TV technology will keep improving and evolving towards an even more connected future.
