This statistic depicts the average number of extra purchases and returners consumers in the U.S. think they would make per month as a result of online retailers adopting 'try-before-you-buy' in 2018. During the survey, consumers stated that they expect to make just under five additional purchases per month if online retailers adopt 'try-before-you-buy' as part of their business model. 'Try-before-you-buy' is where customers are able to order multiple items before deciding what they wish to keep.
