This statistic shows the results of a 2013 survey among adult Americans on euthanasia. The survey asked if, when a person has a disease that cannot be cured, doctors should be allowed by law to end the patient's life painlessly if the patient and their family request it. 70 percent of respondents affirmed that doctors should be legally allowed to end someone's life painlessly on their own request.
