Online performances travel & tourism after Covid-19 outbreak in France in March 2020
The following week, the numbers fell even more with a downfall of almost 70 percent for the traffic and around 82 percent for the total conversion, compared to January 2020.
During the week between the 23rd and 29th of March, the overall traffic reached an all time low (-78.66 percent), compared to the previous weeks and the week in January. The average session duration improved a little, whereas the total conversion continued to decline by around 91 percent.
The source had analyzed the online activity for other categories such as online fashion retailers, who also reported a recess in the development.
